When Joshua and the Israelites were conquering the promised land, Manasseh, Gad and Reuben were not allowed to rest in their land until all of the other tribes of Israel could rest in their lands over the Jordan river (remember the so-called negro spiritual, "My Home Is Over Jordan"?). The promised land was meant to be rest for Israel after we came out of slavery in Egypt but alas, we chose to return to slavery -- we chose to live in sin and break our covenant with YAH. YAH loves Israel, His chosen people and "YAH disciplines the one He loves, as does a father the son in whom he delights." (Proverbs 3:12) The black slave descendants/the Israelites suffer all that we've suffered and continue to suffer because YAH will not allow us to sin without punishment. Amos 3:2 "You (Israel) only have I (YAH) known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities." As per the Curses of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, the Arab Slave Trade, etc. are punishments for us breaking our covenant with YAH and we continue to live under the Curses in the lands of our enemies. As is the case today, the leaders of Israel/black people lead them astray. Isaiah 3:12 "...children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people (Israel), they which lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths." In Jeremiah 5:6, we see YAH using animals to punish His people for their transgressions, which is something that occurs throughout scripture so the part that animals can play in judgment is not to be taken lightly. The ancient Israelites were adulterous toward the Most High (YAH) and toward their own spouses, but they were so full of the Blessings of YAH and so confident in their position as His chosen people that they thought no harm could or would ever befall them. But as Jeremiah 5:12 says, they lied on YAH. YAH forewarned them in the beginning, even in the song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32), that harm would indeed befall them for breaking their covenant with Him. Deuteronomy 31:19-22 "Now therefore write you (Moses) this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. For when I (YAH) shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that flows with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto gods, and serve them, and provoke Me, and break My covenant. And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware. Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel." When you observe everything--the calamity after calamity after calamity--that has happened to black people who are descendants of slaves, what you're observing is them being afflicted by the Curses of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 for breaking their covenant with YAH. Deuteronomy 28:45-46 "Moreover all these Curses shall come upon you (Israel), and shall pursue you, and overtake you, till you be destroyed; because you hearkened not unto the voice of YAH your Father, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you: and they shall be upon you for a sign and for a wonder, and upon your seed for ever." However, "for ever" in this case does not mean eternally. Deuteronomy 30:1-7 "...it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you (Israel), the Blessing and the Curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, whither YAH your Father has driven you, and shall return unto YAH your Father, and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul; that then YAH your Father will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, whither YAH your Father has scattered you. If any of you be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will YAH your Father gather you, and from thence will He fetch you: and YAH your Father will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers. And YAH your Father will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love YAH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live. And YAH your Father will put all these curses upon your enemies, and on them that hate you, which persecuted you." This video begins with David--the king YAH Himself chose to reign over Israel--praising YAH and transitions to the leaders of Israel who came after David only to hate judgment and pervert justice; they loved money rather than YAH but still believed YAH was on their side and would support their wickedness. Because of such wicked Israelites, which are still rife amongst Israel unto this day, Jerusalem was destroyed and the Israelites scattered throughout the world through slavery. Psalms 92:9-10 refers to the enemies of YAH perishing and being scattered, but this applies even to Israel, who chose to be as an enemy to YAH. Micah 2:8 "Even of late My people (Israel) is risen up as an enemy..." and YAH in turn has become as an enemy to Israel. Lamentations 2:5 "YAH was as an enemy: He has swallowed up Israel, He has swallowed up all her palaces: He has destroyed His strong holds, and has increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation." But even as enemies to one another, YAH and Israel are still Father and son. Ezekiel 11:16-17 "...Thus says YAH ALMIGHTY; Although I have cast them (the Israelites) far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, Thus says YAH ALMIGHTY; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel." As David, Israel is like a green olive tree in the house of YAH and as David, Israel should trust in the mercy of YAH for ever and ever. Understand the correlation between David and Israel who are the bone and flesh of one another. When David was anointed king of Israel, "then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are your bone and your flesh. Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, you were he that led out and brought in Israel: and YAH said to you, You shall feed My people Israel, and you shall be a captain over Israel. So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before YAH: and they anointed David king over Israel." (2 Samuel 5:1-3) Today, the kingdom of David/Israel is fallen. The enemies of David/Israel have taken control of us and all our possessions. The black slave descendants/the Israelites have become estranged from our own heritage and ancestors (including David). Our enemies have concealed the truth with lies and we have believed their lies, but the Most High is our Helper. Using David's own words in Psalms 69:6-8 and Psalms 54:2-4, all of these things are expressed and, in the end, ALL of David's/Israel's enemies will be defeated. "The eternal Creator is your (Israel's) refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them. Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew. Happy are you, O Israel: who is like unto you, O people saved by YAH, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your excellency! In Jeremiah 5:2, YAH speaks about wicked Israelites who swear by Him but swear falsely; such Israelites are just as common now as they were in Jeremiah's day. Isaiah 29:13 "...YAH has said, This people (Israel) draw nigh to Me with their mouth, and they honour Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me: but in vain do they worship Me, teaching the commandments and doctrines of men." In Genesis 18:32, YAH told Abraham that He would spare Sodom for 10 righteous and in Jeremiah 5:1, He tells Jeremiah that He'd spare Jerusalem for one who executed judgment and sought truth. But one could not be found. YAH also expresses this in Ezekiel 22:30-31 "I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out Mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, says YAH ALMIGHTY." Jerusalem was worse than Sodom. In the parable against Jerusalem, in Ezekiel 16:46-47, YAH says, "your elder sister is Samaria (the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel), she and her daughters that dwell at your left hand: and your younger sister, that dwells at your right hand, is Sodom and her daughters. Yet have you (Jerusalem) not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, you were corrupted more than they in all your ways." After YAH destroyed Jerusalem and the Second Temple in 70 C.E., the Israelites were exiled from the land and we (the black slave descendants/Israelites) remain in exile/captivity unto this day (2024 C.E.); this is the final captivity of Israel but also the longest as it has spanned almost 2000 years. But it will end someday and, when it does, that is just the beginning -- the end of this world is the beginning of ours. In Genesis, the snake that spoke with Eve/Hawwah is never said to be Satan; the snake is never made out to be anything other than just that, a snake. Moreover, when the Creator YAH punishes the snake in Genesis 3:14-15, He does not address Satan; it is clear that He blames the snake for its part in the ordeal with Adam and Eve NOT a different entity masquerading as the snake. Now, in Isaiah 56:9 when YAH calls "all beasts of the field" to devour Jacob/Israel, He is calling "all enemies of His flock (Israel)." This is stated in Jeremiah 12:9 "Mine heritage is unto Me (YAH) as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her (Israel); come you, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour." It is also stated in Ezekiel 34:8 "As I live, says YAH ALMIGHTY, surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not My flock;" Remember that YAH used not only man to attack Israel but also animals. Jeremiah 5:6 "Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them (the Israelites), and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goes out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased." In Ezekiel 18 we see YAH pleading with Israel as Moses pled with them in Deuteronomy 30. "I (Moses) call heaven and earth to record this day against you (Israel), that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live: that you may love YAH your Father, and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cleave unto Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which YAH sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." (Deuteronomy 30:20) YAH pled with the Israelites many times to turn back from their sins/transgressions against the Law (Torah) and in doing so choose life rather than death, but they would not listen to Him; therefore, YAH rejected Israel and sent them away as slaves into the lands of their enemies. Our own land rejected us and spewed us out as it did the Canaanites before us (Leviticus 18:24-28) so the Israelites have no place of rest. The gentiles (nations) have removed YAH's Name from the Bible and replaced it with "the LORD" and in Jeremiah 23:27, YAH says that His people Israel have forgotten His Name for Lord/Baal. The ancient Israelites believed that as the chosen people of the Most High, YAH no harm would ever come to them and if it did, it was at least in the obscure future so they wouldn't have to be the ones to experience it (a shameful lack of concern for their descendants). Ezekiel 12:27-28 "Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off. Therefore say unto them, Thus says YAH ALMIGHTY; There shall none of My words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, says YAH ALMIGHTY." In Ezekiel 12:24, YAH says, "there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel" but flattery is all the Israelites would give ear to; they loved to have their ears tickled with flattering lies, exactly as they still do even unto this very day. Isaiah 30:8-11 "Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness that these people (Israel) are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to YAH's instructions. They tell the seers, Stop seeing visions! They tell the prophets, Don't tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies. Forget all this gloom. Get off your narrow path. Stop telling us about your Holy One of Israel." This is how they did and continue to build "a strong refuge made of lies and deception" in order to cheat death as Isaiah 28:15 so eloquently puts it. Remember how the ancient Israelites believed that taking the Ark of the Covenant into battle with them would prevent them from losing a battle (ex. 1 Samuel 4:3-4). They thought YAH would never allow the Ark of the Covenant to be taken into non-Israelite hands because it was too holy. YAH directly communed with Israel through the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:17-22), but rather than appreciate the tremendous blessing of having direct access to the Creator Himself, Israel tried to use it against Him. In the battle against the Philistines in 1 Samuel 4, "Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen. And the ark of YAH was taken..." (1 Samuel 4:10-11) Whatever "refuge made of lies and deception" that Israel makes will not protect us. The only refuge that will protect us is YAH Himself. Before the Babylonians came and destroyed Israel in 586 B.C.E., the Ark of the Covenant was hidden by the prophet Jeremiah and it hasn't been found since nor will it be until after the Second Exodus when YAH gathers the Israelite diaspora scattered worldwide through the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Arab Slave Trade, etc. (2 Maccabees 2:4-7). "And it shall come to pass, when you (Israel) be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says YAH, they shall say no more, The Ark of the Covenant of YAH: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more." And David My servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them. Goliath was a Philistine giant/Nephilim and all of the men of Israel were afraid to fight him, except David. The revolt of the ten tribes that split from Judah and the house of David was sanctioned by the Most High, YAH (1 Kings 11:9-11), but Jeroboam--the first king of the northern kingdom of Israel--set up golden calf idols in Bethel and Dan so that the Israelites wouldn't return to Jerusalem (1 Kings 12:26–30). Throughout the history of the northern kingdom of Israel (Ephraim), they were idolators and none of their kings were righteous. The annals of the northern kingdom is rife with the short reigns of usurpers and was ultimately destroyed in 722 B.C.E. by the Assyrians while the sourthern kingdom of Judah was destroyed in 586 B.C.E. by the Babylonians. The Israelites returned to Jerusalem and built the Second Temple circa 516 B.C.E., but they were destroyed again in 70 C.E. by the Romans. The book of Proverbs opens up in the first chapter speaking from the perspective of Wisdom. She was given to the children of Israel by the Most High Himself (YAH) who chose them to be His people, but the Israelites did not give heed to her. As punishment for their rejection of wisdom, YAH has cast the Israelites out of their land into the lands of their enemies. After the reign of King Solomon, the Israelites split into two kingdoms: the kingdom of Judah and the kingdom of Israel (Ephraim). Complaining kept the Israelites from the promised land, wandering in the desert for 40 years. Let us learn from their mistakes by being thankful for everything the Most High, YAH does for us and praising Him both in good times and in bad. After taking possession of the promised land, the Israelites rebelled against YAH time and time again, which eventually led to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 C.E. and their present-day captivity. The Israelites trusted in lies, stole, murdered, committed adultery, perjury and idolatry in the house of the Most High, YAH. It is important to mention here the response that Jeremiah received from the other Israelites when he told them that Jerusalem would become like Shiloh: Jeremiah 26:8-9 "Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that YAH had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, You shall surely die. Why have you prophesied in the Name of YAH, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of YAH." Therefore, Jerusalem was destroyed in 586 B.C.E. by the Babylonians and again in 70 C.E. by the Romans; both times, the Israelites were exiled from the promised land/taken into captivity in their enemies' lands and since the 70 C.E. destruction we have not returned. Proverbs 20:8 "A king that sits in the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes" is applied to YAH scattering the Israelites throughout the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Arab Slave Trade, etc. because YAH literally says He would "scatter Israel among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the other." (Deuteronomy 28:64) In Proverbs 20, "a king" is described but YAH is the greastest King of all, the King of kings and in truth, the ONLY King. When Israel approached Gideon to be king in Judges 8:22-23, "Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: YAH shall rule over you." Israel chose idols and the Curses (Deuteronomy 28:15-68) instead of YAH and the Blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) so--to this very day--Israel is cursed to worship wood and stone in foreign lands. It took A LOT of rejection from Israel for the Most High, YAH to finally withdraw Himself from them and since His withdrawal, the lost sheep of the house of Israel--the black slave descendants--have lost EVERYTHING. As prophesied, we don't even know who we are while we serve our enemies in foreign lands. Jeremiah 17:4 "...you (Israel), even yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I (YAH) gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you know (knew) not: for you have kindled a fire in Mine anger, which shall burn for ever." In this case however, "for ever" simply means "for a very long time"; it does NOT mean eternally because YAH and Israel will be reunited, never to be separated again, PRAISE YAH! But until that day comes, we don't have knowledge of self because we rejected knowledge of self by rejecting YAH. Deuteronomy 32:26 "I (YAH) said, I will scatter them (the Israelites), and I will cause their memorial to cease from among men." When we remember who we are and return to Father YAH and our heritage with Him, it is important that we return truly repentant, shamefaced and humble. This is why Hosea 9:1 says, "Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for you have gone a whoring from your Father (YAH)..." Yes, we share a glorious heritage with the Creator Himself, but that's precisely why we should NOT be proud of ourselves for all the wickedness we've done and are still doing. DO NOT get a little bit of knowledge and become a know-it-all who can't be corrected or reproved. Psalms 141:5 "Let the righteous smite me; IT SHALL BE A KINDNESS: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head..." DO NOT exalt yourself because of your knowledge or anything else you may possess; remember that "the lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and YAH alone shall be exalted in that day. The proverb against Jerusalem in Ezekiel 16 is an interesting one. Jerusalem, like Samaria and Sodom, being spiritually of Amorite and Hittite descent, are referred to as sisters. This is a proverb and NOT to be taken literal; the Israelites (Jerusalem and Samaria) are NOT physical descendants of Amorites or Hittites. Samaria was the capital of the Northern Kingdom of Israel as Jerusalem was the capital of the Southern Kingdom of Judah. Sodom is infamous for being destroyed by the Most High, YAH in Genesis 19; it is important to note that pure white sulfur, which does NOT occur naturally on earth is found in the ruins of Sodom along the Dead Sea (it is the ONLY place on earth where such sulfur/brimstone can be found because it rained upon Sodom directly from heaven). When YAH says, "I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of your captives in the midst of them:" in Ezekiel 16:53, He is expressing how He will return the fortune of them (Ezekiel 16:55); the Israelites (Jerusalem and Samaria) did go into captivity and even remain in captivity unto this very day, but Sodom and her daughters (Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim) had perished with all their inhabitants many ages ago, leaving no descendants behind. When Jerusalem and Samaria are finally redeemed from their present-day captivity--when the black slave descendants of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Arab Slave Trade, etc. are finally redeemed, then YAH will establish the New Covenant with them. Ezekiel 31:33-34 "...this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; after those days, says YAH, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Father, and they shall be My people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YAH: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says YAH: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." The New Testament is NOT the New Covenant and YAH did NOT replace Israel with Christians or gentiles. The New Testament is FALSE. When YAH establishes His New Covenant WITH ISRAEL, Israel will be ashamed for breaking the original covenant we made with Him and in the days of the New Covenant there will be no more curses nor will Israelites teach other Israelites to know YAH since ALL Israelites will know YAH. The New Covenant is also referred to in the next chapter of Jeremiah--Jeremiah 32:37-42 says, "Behold, I will gather them (the Israelites) out of all countries, whither I have driven them in Mine anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: and they shall be My people, and I will be their Father: and I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear Me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: AND I WILL MAKE AN EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH THEM, THAT I WILL NOT TURN AWAY FROM THEM, TO DO THEM GOOD; but I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with My whole heart and with My whole soul. For thus says YAH; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people (Israel), so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them." Broken up, dispersed into slavery, expatriated, and despairing, "the whole house of Israel" feels there is no more hope of regaining national sovereignty, "for the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:" (Hosea 3:4). Worship YAH ONLY. Worshipping anything or anyone other than YAH is IDOLATRY. Israel is married to the Most High, YAH so when we worship idols, we are committing adultery against YAH. Go to any black community and you will find multiple churches on every single street throughout the community; Israel literally builds "eminent places in the head of every way, and make our high place in every street." In the days of Nehemiah and Ezra, a lot of Israelites were marrying non-Israelites. Nehemiah 4:7-8 says, "...when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth, and conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it." Then, Nehemiah 13:23 says, "And in those days I saw the Israelites who had married women of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab" so as we can see, the Israelites were marrying into the families of the very nations that hated them; this is the same thing we do even unto this very day. Nehemiah 13:28 informs us that even Elisub the High Priest of Israel was son-in-law to Sanballat, one of the main adversaries of Israel mentioned numerous times in the book of Nehemiah; most translations are worded as though it was a grandson of Elisub the High Priest who was Sanballat's son-in-law, but the Septuagint says it was Elisub himself. Nehemiah 13:24-25 says, "their children spoke half in the language of Ashdod, and did not know how to speak in the Israelite language. And I strove with them and cursed them; and I smote some of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by YAH, saying, You shall not give your daughters to their sons, and you shall not take of their daughters to your sons." The Law that Nehemiah made them swear by is the Law of Deuteronomy 7:3 which says, "...you shall make no covenant with them (the gentiles), nor shew mercy unto them: neither shall you make marriages with them; your daughter you shall not give unto his son, nor his daughter shall you take unto your son." Some rebellious Israelites who want to break the Law and marry non-Israelites say that Deuteronomy 7:2-3 only applied to the gentile nations mentioned in Deuteronomy 7:1 (namely, the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites), but that is NOT true. Ashdodites, Ammonites and Moabities were not mentioned in Deuteronomy 7:1, but Nehemiah knew it was still transgression of the Law for Israelites to marry them. Ezra, who was a "skilled scribe in the Law of Moses" (Ezra 7:6) rebuked the Israelites for marrying Egyptians as well; Egyptians were not mentioned in Deuteronomy 7:1, but Ezra like Nehemiah knew that marrying them was still transgression of the Law. Israelites are NOT supposed to marry non-Israelites. The men of Israel were forced to put away their strange (non-Israelite) wives and the children that were born of them so that the wrath of YAH could be turned away from Israel (Ezra 9 and 10). "Should we (Israel) again break Your commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? Would not You (YAH) be angry with us till You had consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?" (Ezra 9:14) But thanks to the goodness of YAH, a remnant of Israel will survive and escape, even after we've repeated the same folly our ancestors did, and to an even greater extent than they did. YAH will once again redeem and rebuild Israel so that our Kingdom will be established on earth but, this time, it will never be destroyed or defiled again. The prayer of Solomon in this video from 1 Kings 8 took place during the dedication of the First Temple, which was destroyed by Babylon in 586 BCE. The Second Temple was rebuilt 70 years later, circa 516 BCE. Then, the Second Temple was destroyed by Rome in 70 CE and since that time the Israelites have been exiled from the promised land. It is now 2024 CE and as per Solomon's prayer, we pray toward our land while in the lands of our enemies. And despite the fact that Solomon sinned against YAH in his latter days, may YAH still acknowledge his prayer for Israel as we do. The Most High, YAH threatens to destroy the house of David unless they execute judgment and deliver the spoiled from their oppressors. He goes on to say that He is against Jerusalem, poetically referred to as "a valley" and "rock of the plain." These poetical descriptions of the capital are reminiscent of "the valley of vision" (Isaiah 22:1 and Isaiah 22:5) while "the rock of the plain" recalls "My mountain in the field" (Jeremiah 17:3) and the fact that Zion is Mount Zion. YAH speaks of how the king and his people trusted, as the Jebusites had done in the days of old (2 Samuel 5:8), in what seemed to them the impregnable strength of their natural position. But Jerusalem and the Second Temple were ultimately destroyed in 70 C.E. by the Romans and since that time unto the present, the Israelites have been in exile in the lands of their enemies. According to Microsoft Encarta, "Today, about 85% of all Jews are Ashkenazim". The Ashkenazi are not descendants of Israel, Ashkenaz was the grandson of Japheth and brother of Togarmah. The second half of the Jewish populace in the land of Israel today are the Sephardim or Eastern Jew. They have been in the land for over 1900 years, since the 1st century C.E. They are indigenous to the "Mideast". I believe these Sephardim are the real Edomites (descendants of Jacob's twin, Esau or Edom). They have lived side by side with the Arab population for many centuries. The Sephardic Jews are different from the Ashkenazi in appearance; they have darker skin and look more like the darker Arab population of the "Mideast". They also comprise less than 20% of the Israeli population, but it would appear that this small segment of "Children of Shem" (NOT Semites) lineage is cleverly used to imply the "Shemitic" origin of all Israeli Jews. These Sephardim entered the land in the 1st century C.E., along with the Romans when the true Israelites were being kicked out of the land, as it is written in the book of Obadiah. Obadiah 1:2 Behold, I (YAH) have made you (Edom) SMALL AMONG THE HEATHEN: you are GREATLY DESPISED. Obadiah 1:10 For your violence against your brother Jacob shame shall cover you, and you shalt be cut off for ever. The Sephardim/Edomite/Eastern Jews are being oppressed big time by the racist Ashkenazi and because they have joined with the Ashkenazi and call themselves Jews, the surrounding Arab population despise them just as much as they do the Ashkenazi. So they have it coming both ways, but this is their punishment for helping to mistreat the Israelites. In a book by an Ashkenazi Jew named Jack Bernstein entitled, 'LIFE OF AN AMERICAN JEW IN RACIST, MARXIST ISRAEL', he tells of his experience in Israel which was not a pleasant one. He tells of how he married a Sephardim woman and the hatred and discrimination he received from the Ashkenazi population even though he himself is an Ashkenazi. But because he was married to a Sephardim he caught all kinds of hell. The Sephardim are second class citizens in Israel so for this reason Jack Bernstein calls Israel racist, because all who aren't Ashkenazi are treated as second class citizens. The Sephardim/Edomites came into the land and laid their hands on Israel's possessions and pretended to be the Israelites, but as YAH said, He would return their reward on their own head. So now the Ashkenazi have come in and moved them over and are pretending to be the Israelites and laid their hands on Edom possessions, but this is just the fulfillment of prophecy. I find it interesting that the Sephardim are looked at and called Niggers by the Ashkenazi as well. This fact is pointed out by Jack Bernstein in his book on page 39: "One day I entered a cafe in Tel Aviv. The place was crowded and I sat down on the only seat available. Also sitting at this table were five Sephardim Jews from Morocco. They learned that I was studying the Hebrew language so they were helping me with my studies when a blue eyed Nazi type Israeli police officer walked into the cafe. He ordered me to "GET AWAY FROM THOSE KOOSHIM". The word kush/cush means black, but it is used derogatorily by the Ashkenazi to mean "Nigger". As Obadiah 1:2 says, the Sephardim/Edomites are SMALL AMONG THE HEATHEN and GREATLY DESPISED.
