Tehilim Sameach Alef (Psalm 61)
א. לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל-נְגִינַת לְדָוִד:
1. To the chief Musician, for stringed instruments, Of David.

Shim-ah Elohim ri-na-ti ~ Shim-ah Elohim ri-na-ti
ב. שִׁמְעָה אֱלֹהִים רִנָּתִי הַקְשִׁיבָה תְּפִלָּתִי:
(2 Hear my cry, O God)
hak-shi-va te-fi-la-ti Shim-ah Elohim ~ hak-shi-va te-fi-la-ti Shim-ah Elohim
(Attend to my prayer)

Mik-tzeh ha-ah-retz e-leh-cha ek-ra ~ ba-a-tof li-bi ~ ba-a-tof li-bi
ג. מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא בַּעֲטֹף לִבִּי:
(3 From the end of the earth I will cry to you ~ When my heart is faint)

be-tzoor—ya-room mi-meh-ni tahn-chey-ni
בְּצוּר-יָרוּם מִמֶּנִּי תַנְחֵנִי
(Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I)

Ki—ha-yi-ta mach-seh li ~ Ki—ha-yi-ta mach-seh li
ד. כִּי-הָיִיתָ מַחְסֶה לִי:
(4 For you have been a shelter for me)

Mig-dal—oz ~ Mig-dal—oz mip-ney o-yev
מִגְדַּל-עֹז מִפְּנֵי אוֹיֵב
(And a strong tower against the enemy)

A-goo-ra ve-o-hol-cha o-la-mim ~ A-goo-ra ve-o-hol-cha o-la-mim
ה. אָגוּרָה בְאָהָלְךָ עוֹלָמִים:
(5 I will abide in your tent forever)

Eh-cheh-seh ve-seh-ter ke-na-feh-cha. Selah.
אֶחֱסֶה בְסֵתֶר כְּנָפֶיךָ סֶּלָה
(I will trust in the shelter of your wings. Selah.)

Ki a-ta Elohim, sha-ma-ata leen-da-rai
ו. כִּי-אַתָּה אֱלֹהִים שָׁמַעְתָּ לִנְדָרָי:
(6 For you, O God, have heard my vows)

Na-ta-ta yeh-roo-shat yir-ey sh’meh-cha
נָתַתָּ יְרֻשַּׁת יִרְאֵי שְׁמֶךָ
(You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name)

Ya-mim al-yeh-mey—meh-lech [repeat 2x] ~ to-sif sh’no-tav ke-mo—dor va-dor
ז. יָמִים עַל-יְמֵי-מֶלֶךְ תּוֹסִיף שְׁנוֹתָיו כְּמוֹ-דֹר וָדֹר:
(7 Prolong the king's life; may his years be as many generations)

Yeh-shev o-lam lif-ney Elohim [repeat 2x] ~ che-sed ve-emet mahn yin-tzey-ru- hu
ח. יֵשֵׁב עוֹלָם לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת מַן יִנְצְרֻהוּ:
(8 May he be enthroned before God for ever; O appoint love and truth, that they may preserve him)

Ken azam-ra shim-cha la-ad [repeat 2x] ~ le-shal-mi ne-da-rai yom yom
ט. כֵּן אֲזַמְּרָה שִׁמְךָ לָעַד לְשַׁלְּמִי נְדָרַי יוֹם יוֹם:
(9 So I will sing praise to your name for ever, as I daily perform my vows)
