Sometimes a problem arises with the water flow of my washing machine. The water intake gets reduced to a trickle, or stops completely, leaving the machine unable to wash and showing an error symbol. Yes, Slobbies' mother belongs to her parents. But Slobbies' mother is also very old and will probably not live very long. If Slobbies still wants to see her, he will have to go with Coolasfire and his fiance the next morning to go and see her. But there's also the possibility that once Slobbies has met his mother, he will probably want to stay with her for as long as she lives. So he might not see Ol'Mom again. Ol'Mom is very sad about this. She always thought Slobbies and her are a team, but nope, turns out Slobbies sees someone else as his mother. She just can't compete with his real, biological mother. Will she have to let go of Slobbies for the forseeable future? It's a tough decision Slobbies has to make.

So here's a lightbulb that's perfect for loadshedding since it works off of its own built-in rechargeable battery. It's the T01 TYPE-C WARM LIGHT CAMPING LAMP. Today we watch SLOBBIES!!! Glad I finally got an opportunity to use my retro steampunk fish ornament to do an intro, since this is an episode of Slobbies about a submarine journey. Hans Wors has bought himself a submarine at auction, and now he's looking for a crew. So naturally Slobbies and Kietsie and Goldwyn Physhee is going to be involved, seeing as they're the main characters. But on the journey, they discover that they are actually secretly being used to help Hans Wors find buried treasure, and to fight against his pirate-like enemies Snake and his crew. They suspect the plan was that Hans Wors would get rid of them as soon as they helped him obtain the pirate's treasure, and split with all the loot. So they decide to mutiny and take the submarine, leaving Hans Wors and Snake alone on the pirate ship to work out their business by themselves.

It also made me look online for cardboard furniture, and lo and behold, cardboard furniture is actually a thing. With big expectations and excitement, I unbox and review the 8K ULTRA HD Digital Video Camera, MODEL AC-254KM, made in China. Unfortunately I find that they stopped short of making a really great little camera. Can it still be used for something? Have a look at this review and we'll discuss. Ol'Mom misses her son who ran away from home, and decides to stuff the void with shopping. She ends up buying a chicken, because she believes she'll be able to have free eggs every morning for breakfast that way. But she ended up buying a rooster, and Slobbies believes it's just another mouth to feed. However, there's a much bigger problem when from under the floorboards, a giant snake emerges to capture the chicken for himself and get some eggs from his prisoner. A big chase ensues, resulting in a hostage situation.

After I did the original unboxing & review of the model AC-254KM 8K video camera video, I realised I showed very little actual footage shot with the camera, which is of course something you'd want to see, if you happen to have bought or received this camera as a gift. On its widest setting, this camera's image is not too bad, except you cannot focus on subjects closer than one meter to the camera. As soon as you use the zoom though, the frame rate for some reason slows down. It's also best only on 4K settings, not on any resolution above that. The sound recording unfortunately will let you down.

The ORDRO HDR-AZ50 4K camcorder really looked like a good generic camcorder just waiting to be discovered. So in this video we buy it, unbox it and review it. After our review yesterday of the ORDRO HDR-AZ50 4K video camera, I was thoroughly disappointed that I cannot vlog with it because it would not focus on anything closer than 2.5 meters. But then I remembered a setting I saw yesterday in the settings menu: MACRO. Is that the answer I was looking for? Seems with MACRO set to ON, you actually can vlog with this camera, and what's more, finally it seems I"ve figured out how to take closeups of objects too, something that eluded me in the original review video.

Well they got me with the look of this camera. Looks like the camera you never had, yet now miss and must get. Unfortunately the looks of it is all I am going to get, because its video functionality isn't as advertised. 4K is actually 4K but with a reduced frame rate. And the sound quality is so muffled, I might as well cover the camera in five blankets and try to record then. The zoom is also just digital, so probably not very good. However, at widest setting, I suppose it might make a good basic still photo camera. More functions: Beauty face, 48MP photos, 32GB memory card, 2 batteries included.

I don't have cellphone signal at my desk of my home office. Fortunately it seems there is a way to redirect cellphone calls to a landline telephone, so all I'll have to do is to keep the cellphone where there is signal and then keep a landline phone at my table. However, the last landline phone I have was one of Telkom's very sterile looking clean sleek designs. Not bad, but I like things to be a bit more aesthetic than that. So I buy myself an antique-looking retro telephone with rotary dial, apparently a 1921 model. Yeah baby, love it!

So there's no space to have long towel rails in your modern small bathroom slash shower room? Well it seems this might be the solution: Pep Home's Over The Door Towel Hook towel rail ladder thingy. Takes a bit of assembly, but fortunately not much. Once it's assembled, you can hang it over any standard door and use it as a multi-storey towel rail. Do not use it as a ladder, because it is not strong enough to hold more weight than 5kg. Looks practical and usable for towels though. I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

Today we go on an African hunting safari, as our hunter needs to kill the sable bull that has become a danger to all the other animals in the wildlife reserve. It has started killing any and all animals it feels like indiscriminately. However, many shots later, the sable is still running around the planes of Africa. Wasn't quite the one shot job our hunter was counting on. A chase ensues that takes several hours. Turns out the sable has 40 inch long horns.

We take a look at the actual video quality of the video files taken by the cheese cube MINI CAM video camera that we discussed in a previous video, but never inspected the actual video files because the camera was difficult to work whatwith only having one single button on the top, and my losing interest and patience with it. Today you can see that unfortunately it records video in 4x3, and not 16x9. Also it records the date and time at the top of the video, and if you try to remove it, Windows Media Player might not play the file. But have a look for yourself in this video.

Today we're going to unbox and explore Fujifilm's Instax Mini 40 instant camera. Takes two AA sized batteries. Can be used to relatively easily take selfies. The lens popping up switch is also the power button. The camera has no exposure or distance focus settings like you might find on other instant cameras like the Polaroid 600, but it seems none of that is necessary because this one's automatic handling of all settings works just great. Photos look great and take about 90 seconds to develop. They're roughly credit card sized, although they do feel a little bigger. Size is decent and big enough, and are crisp and clear enough to make scans of with a computer scanner, in case you would like to print yourself a larger version of a photo you took with the Fujifilm Instax Mini 40 instant camera. The look and design of the camera is great! Love it. All in all I rather like this camera. It's fun to see the instant photo come out and wait for it to develop. Exciting stuff!

On temu.com I find some interesting shoes: They're made of probably foam like crocs, but they are moulded into a much better shape; the shape of actual shoes! After so many trials and tribulations of different things on the market and elsewhere to control the never-ending ant infestations at my house, I finally found something that seems to work very satisfactorily: CLEAN & KILL "CLEANS WINDOWS KILLS INSECTS". I'm making this video so I can remember the name and use it the next time I have ant problems. Spray this product where the ants walk and you'll find over the next days, the dead ants pile up all the way to the ceiling. And, given enough time, enough of them die out so that you might get to the point where you don't see much if any ants anymore. Of course they'll always come back again much later, but then this product will push them back again. Finally, something that seems effective in the control of ant populations.

There is this NIVEA inspired skin cream by the looks of it, but the packaging seems to indicate that it's a hair gel, strength number 4, which doesn't get hard. So, I try to investigate and find out what in blazes this actually is. I think my final verdict is that it's a skin cream. I try to use it as an emergency hair gel though and it seems to work, but it depends on the hairstyle you're going after because it doesn't feel like this hair gel is strong enough to actually hold creative styles. Why would anyone make something that one can't tell what it is?

It's very irritating when the weights start coming loose during bicep curls or any other excercise at the gym, almost like it takes the wind out of your sails. It's even more terrifying if it starts happening while you're doing any exercise above your head, like shoulder presses or even bench press with dumbbells. Probably would take a lot more movement for the weights to actually fall off the bars, but still, it's very distracting. Is there a way to fix it? Well the good folks online give us a gym hack, but I also try two of my own possible fixes, one being the TROJAN SPRING CLIPS. In the process we find out something very interesting about barbell bars! Not all of them are the same.

Today we assemble the LIVEFIT PRIME BARBELL BENCH that seems like your standard fitness & bodybuilding weightlifting bench, but it's so small that I have to ask who exactly this was made for. The weight limit of the weight seems to be 50 kg, which doesn't seem to be much at all. Also the bar is so low that you cannot get yourself in under the bar when you want to do incline bench press. The leg machine extention is also so miniature that it seems to have been made for a toddler. So what am I missing here? Well I suppose this will make a nice background prop in a gymnasium scene, but that's not really what the average consumer wants it for. Slightly disappointing to say the least.

Animated comedies your thing? Good! Because tonight, we're going to start watching one called Slobbies. Episode 1 starts off a bit sad with the recent death of Ol'Mom, but fortunately she is pregnant with his son and when he's born, she calls him CoolAsFire. When CoolAsFire reaches his teen years however, he's wild and rebellious and smokes and listens to loud music. Not to mention his school work is of a failing standard. When Ol'Mom comes down hard on him because of it, he decides he cannot live with her anymore and needs to go out into the world to make it on his own. Ol'Mom is very sad, but the next day the doorbell rings and there's an abandoned puppy on her doorstep. She decides she'll adopt the puppy and raise him as a son in CoolAsFire's stead. At least SOMEONE is appreciating her motherly love!

I like the look of the STYLO POWER DVK92 phone. I saw a much more expensive phone that was rugged and meant to be used as almost a military grade phone in the bushes and wild and water, and I liked the design and now I seem to have found a very similar design on a much more affordable phone. However, aside from the normal telephoning and text messaging functions, this one's other multimedia functions aren't very useful. The video camera resolution and quality is very low and the screen is very small if you want to watch movies, although for the latter it is actually usable. Best extra features I would say is the strong flashlight and the bigger than normal battery that likely lasts quite a few days. In fact, they say it's a powerbank phone that can also charge other devices through USB. It does have internet browsing capabilities, although as you can see in the video, I couldn't get it to work. Not sure if I need to set up something or what. All in call, I believe I'm still going to like this phone a lot. The look of it is great!

This isn't one of my favorite episodes in the Slobbies animated comedy series, but let's not skip it since we'll probably watch all of them. Do you find this one funny? Whatever. Slobbies tries to befriend a guineafowl that has landed in his yard. He tries to make it make itself at home inside their home, but of course the ways of the bird is not the way of the dog who's following the way of the human. In the end it seems the interior of a house is just not the best habitat for a wild bird who belongs in the wild.

Whatwith phones and digital cameras being able to instantly take pictures, and for barely any cost, I haven't been using the old Polaroid 600 photo camera anymore. So I wanted to put it into storage. However, before you put cameras and electronic devices into storage, you should always first remove any batteries they might have. Some batteries may leak over time. However, it took some time for me to figure out where the batteries are located inside the Polaroid 600 photo camera. Turns out they don't have dedicated battery compartments, and have the battery actually inside the photo cartridge.

We watch some EENDAG, the most epic series fathomable. In this one Kevin and Majoor Blaffinski have finally found their lost submarine, and are ready to embark on their journey to Trofis as they had originally planned. They finally reach the mysterious island Trofis, but what they did not expect is to find in the surrounding ocean the ruins of a secret underwater city. Also there are ruins of a sunken ship, but even more surprizing, a sunken submarine! How can this be? Kevin was so sure he's the first one in history to visit the island by submarine. Now that he sees something had sunk that other one, he is a bit on edge.

This home cinema projector was a rather pleasant find! Less expensive than I used to know projectors to cost, it works easily and conveniently by turning on within seconds instead of having to boot up and warm up, and it also turns off just as fast. The bulb brightness is good for watching movies, video and TV indoors in the evening, even with electric lights switched on in the room. It's not quite strong enough to work with bright sunlight shining into the room during the day though. It needs a bit of darkness. Connect your computer to play any unsupported formats that the projector itself won't play back, through HDMI cable, RCA av cable or VGA computer cable. It does play back sound, but you can use a stereo sound cable to connect to a better speaker. One drawback is that it doesn't seem to focus perfectly on all areas of the screen at the same time, presumably because you might be projecting from lower down upwards on the wall, or maybe the lens is just not that good, I don't know which yet. So keep that in mind if you're planning on using it for text presentations. Probably won't work that well for text that's written small. But of course for normal film playback you won't notice if the edges are slightly out of focus. All in all, I rather like this projector. Just what I always thought I needed to have a nice home theater viewing experience but without forking over so much cash that I feel I have reservations about it.

Today we test the Volcano Vinyl Series Vintage Bluetooth Turntable that looks like it's from the 1940's except it can play today's media. What was a nice surprize is that the tape casset player on the side also seems to play just fine! Another make and model of a similar kind of these retro gramophones had the crappiest tape player imaginable in it that only disappointed. I think I like this one now. Works just fine and made me quite happy.

Must say I like the look of this one. It looks like a paraffin lamp from the late 1800's, but it is of course actually a rechargeable humidifier that sprays through an atomizer a mist into the air that causes the air in a room to not be so dry. A powerbank is nice but will eventually need an electrical outlet to charge it. Should you not have that available, you could get electricity to charge your USB enabled devices by using 4 AA batteries and this little gizmo called TRAVEL LOG EMERGENCY CHARGER. How long it's going to take to charge a phone or tablet I don't know, because no specs about amps or speed are provided, or how long the batteries will last. Why put your coins into the ashtray of your car when you can enjoy the utter enjoyment of having a cat come out of a box and drag your change into it? That's basically the jist of this money savings box that has a cat peek out and take the coin into the box with its paw. Unfortunately the first one of these cat savings boxes I have, doesn't work. Exchanged it is, and then things go better, although so many times I still have problems with the unit. See the aforementioned problems discovered and discussed in this video. But other than that, it's actually really fun to have the cat come out and take the money into the box. Too bad the coins need to be really small, or you'll jam up the gears of this contraption.

Both computers have fallen into disuse now, the SLIM BOOK because its battery came to its end and it will not work through the power cable without a battery inside, and the SWIFT BOOK slowed down to a crawl that's as slow as a stop. I guess I'll switch to Proline computers now.

I think I finally found the speaker I was looking for for using in the gym to exercise with. Since there's currently electricity problems there, this speaker with its own built in battery will be ideal. Sound quality is good, especially when not opening the volume full blast. Just a good volume sounds best. I like the knobs you can turn as opposed to just press. But the bass isn't very loud, which some people might miss. After I did the original unboxing & review of the model AC-254KM 8K video camera video, I realised I showed very little actual footage shot with the camera, which is of course something you'd want to see, if you happen to have bought or received this camera as a gift. On its widest setting, this camera's image is not too bad, except you cannot focus on subjects closer than one meter to the camera. As soon as you use the zoom though, the frame rate for some reason slows down. It's also best only on 4K settings, not on any resolution above that. The sound recording unfortunately will let you down.

The ORDRO HDR-AZ50 4K camcorder really looked like a good generic camcorder just waiting to be discovered. So in this video we buy it, unbox it and review it. Unfortunately it has its drawbacks, and I state my reasons why this camera will not work for me. I'll probably rather stick to Sony, Panasonic, Canon and such and such.

After our review yesterday of the ORDRO HDR-AZ50 4K video camera, I was thoroughly disappointed that I cannot vlog with it because it would not focus on anything closer than 2.5 meters. But then I remembered a setting I saw yesterday in the settings menu: MACRO. Is that the answer I was looking for? Seems with MACRO set to ON, you actually can vlog with this camera, and what's more, finally it seems I"ve figured out how to take closeups of objects too, something that eluded me in the original review video.

The Zoom H4n is one of my handy audio recording devices. However, since it's so expensive, I was wondering if there's something else cheaper that I can use on more informal work? I found something in a store the other day called DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER, made in China. So today we test it out. Is a digital voice recorder the same as a digital audio recorder? Can it only record microphone in, or also sound via line in or from another device's headphone out port?
UPDATE: Now that I've used this recorder a few times to record sound for video, I have some rather sad update to report. Unfortunately this recorder sometimes skip a few seconds when recording. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen unfortunately. This makes it a very low fidelity product I'm afraid. You'll never know if it will skip a second or more while the speaker is saying something important. Bummer :(

I recently purchased the Telefunken 10.1IN 3G TEL-1013GIQA tablet computer. Am I happy with it? Sort of maybe. But I don't like the very rough resolution. One of my very favorite toothbrushes is an electric toothbrush by Aquafresh apparently being called Extreme Clean Interdental Power. Unfortunately this toothbrush can only be used about 3 months before you have to throw it away. During this video was also the first time I learned that it's actually marketed as a disposable toothbrush, even though it might seem like it could be something permanent. The brushes cannot be replaced and replacing the battery might damage the unit's insides so that it won't work properly. Bummer. Still, during those two to three months that it's new, it does work fantastically and wonderfully.

On temu.com I find some interesting shoes: They're made of probably foam like crocs, but they are moulded into a much better shape; the shape of actual shoes! I find that putting them on it feels like you're walking on memory foam. Very comfortable! I believe I now found my favorite everyday shoe - this one! Only thing is it's about half a size smaller than the size I really need, but they seem to work well enough anyway.

Today we're going to unbox and explore Fujifilm's Instax Mini 40 instant camera. Takes two AA sized batteries. Can be used to relatively easily take selfies. The lens popping up switch is also the power button. The camera has no exposure or distance focus settings like you might find on other instant cameras like the Polaroid 600, but it seems none of that is necessary because this one's automatic handling of all settings works just great. Photos look great and take about 90 seconds to develop. They're roughly credit card sized, although they do feel a little bigger. Size is decent and big enough, and are crisp and clear enough to make scans of with a computer scanner, in case you would like to print yourself a larger version of a photo you took with the Fujifilm Instax Mini 40 instant camera. The look and design of the camera is great! Love it. All in all I rather like this camera. It's fun to see the instant photo come out and wait for it to develop. Exciting stuff!

Animated comedies your thing? Good! Because tonight, we're going to start watching one called Slobbies. Episode 1 starts off a bit sad with the recent death of Ol'Mom, but fortunately she is pregnant with his son and when he's born, she calls him CoolAsFire. When CoolAsFire reaches his teen years however, he's wild and rebellious and smokes and listens to loud music. Not to mention his school work is of a failing standard. When Ol'Mom comes down hard on him because of it, he decides he cannot live with her anymore and needs to go out into the world to make it on his own. Ol'Mom is very sad, but the next day the doorbell rings and there's an abandoned puppy on her doorstep. She decides she'll adopt the puppy and raise him as a son in CoolAsFire's stead. At least SOMEONE is appreciating her motherly love!
