Captain Phil’s Smoked Salmon Pate

7/10/2024 Captain Phil is one of Long Island’s Northfork Fisherman. In the early 80s, I’m guessing 1980-82, Captain Phil served aboard the US Coast Guard Cutter Woodrush WLB-407 home-ported in Sitka, Alaska. I served aboard the Woodrush also, but departed shortly before his arrival. My guess, is that while Captain Phil was stationed in Alaska he got the idea to start smoking fish. That’s only my guess, you’ll have to ask him. So if you find yourself in East Hampton, New York, keep an eye out for Captain Phil at one of the local markets. Hope you enjoyed the video.
