'Who gets called if a nuke is launched after 8 p.m.?' White House stumped by awkward question

The White House press secretary had a bad day at the office on Tuesday, faced with the unenviable task of trying to make her employer look good, or at least somewhat competent. Or at least occasionally awake.
Used to the never-ending tsunami of Biden gaffes and slip-ups, Karine Jean Pierre was nevertheless stumped by an exchange with Fox News' Peter Doocy during a presser. When Doocy mentioned Biden's comment that his health was fine, it was 'just his brain,' KJP hastily jumped in to explain that 'he was joking, by the way. I just wanna make sure that's out there.' She then proceeded to explain the concept of a joke, which is obviously something we all do when we tell a joke.
Doocy failed to laugh at Biden's 'joke,' instead switching to Biden's admission that he needs to go to bed at 8 p.m. 'Say the Pentagon picks up an incoming nuke. It's 11 p.m. Who do you call? The first lady?'
Cue anxious hyperventilating from KJP, and a vague, garbled response about a 'team.' Perhaps this is the same team that makes Biden's Ovaltine and reads him a story at 7.45 p.m. every night?
