Summary:
A spectacular event took place 2,000 years ago on a mountain in Israel. Jesus Christ was transfigured before three of His apostles in a foreshadowing of the Kingdom of God. What can we learn from this miracle, and how might we apply it to prophecy? Let’s take a look!

• Christ appearance was changed and was resplendent with divine brightness on the mount of transfiguration

Takeaway:
While the Mount of Transfiguration was a miraculous event that demonstrated the divinity and glory of the Lord Jesus, it contained secrets that the apostles would later reveal to understand prophetic events. These coming events are why the Lord admonished Peter, John, and James not to speak of the miracle until after He was crucified, buried, and rose again. The Lord is returning soon, and blessed are we to have the Scriptures that give us a picture of His majesty and glory!
