Baby Comforts Bulldog During Storm

Summer comes the thunderstorm season. And many dogs are afraid of thunder. In others, the fear of the storm even manifests as panic attacks caused by this natural phenomenon. The thunder beats are so terrible for four-cowed panties that they try to hide anywhere - under the table, under the bed, and even under the mistress's skirt, completely ignoring the commands and shouting.

Researchers of animal behavior all over the world believe that the fear of thunder and lightning is dug deep down inside a dog’s genes. And it is only understandable: the ancestors of man's four-legged friends lived in open spaces, and during a thunderstorm they had to look for shelter, to throw away uneaten prey and flee from the rain. And if you add to the unpleasant factors also thunder and lightning flashes, you can realize why instincts dictate dog’s "cowardly" behavior.

But the days of evolutionary ordeals are long gone for the dog. The dog has established itself as the man’s best friend and takes a significant place in our household not as a pet, but as a member of the family. This video, shot on May 15, 2018, in Aquebogue, New York, USA is just a proof of that: a tiny kid, just 2-years-old is crouching under the table hugging the frightened Bulldog, twice the boy’s size and bathing his friend with comforting caresses.

This is what the maker of the video has to say about this occasion: "My 2-year-old comforting my Bulldog as a nasty line of severe thunderstorms rolled in."
