Making friends at the marina

Since I can remember I liked hanging out around marinas and look at sailboats and yachts.

This is only third time I went to the Fisherrow Harbour in Musselburgh but I always find it a relaxing place to be.

Many times I thought of approaching a boat owner to talk about what it is like to own one but never followed through with it.

Today it happened quite organically and I got to ask few questions and learn few things.

Gary, the owner of the yacht you see in this video encouraged me to join a sailing club to try sailing for myself.

This has been on my mind for a while now and it looks like I’m gonna take him up on the offer soon.
