High protein pita bread

I was a professional baker on a fat loss journey . I knew I needed more protein. I am sharing some of my favs to help you too. I’m working on a book and some other exciting things!

Let’s make high protein , no yeast pita bread ! It has only 3-4 ingredients 😊

These are made in the air fryer but you can use a conventional oven .

128g unbleached self rising flour (king Arthur is my fav) (approx 3/4c)
** if you cannot find self rising add
6g baking powder (1t)
128 g Fage Greek yogurt
1/2 t salt

Mix by hand add additional yogurt until all dry bits are picked up and a dough ball is formed . Cut into 6 even pieces and round them into balls. Flatten and roll into rounds . If you like perfect circles press with a bowl and trim after rolling .

Bake 390 for 3 min flip then 3 more minutes. Each oven is different. You are looking for a little color but not crispy 😊

If they don’t rise no worries use them like flat bread. If they get brittle cover them with a towel or put them in a ziplock for a minutes the steam will help soften.
