Rock titan Alex Lifeson is co-founder of Rush, and the only member who was part of the band's lineup from 1968. An unrivalled guitarist, Lifeson's known for some of the world's most intricate and commanding rock solos, and now performs with Envy Of None.
In this special On The Record interview, Alex discusses his custom Les Paul, why he prefers Gibson over Fender and his thoughts on the evolution of the guitar. He also shares what Rush song was the hardest to play, why he was temporarily kicked out the studio when recording 'Moving Pictures' and his moving experience playing in the Taylor Hawkins tribute show.
