In his early years after getting a gift of an electric guitar from his father, immediately began writing and performing dark and heavy music that could only be classed as metal, being influenced by bands like Metallica, Megadeth and Black Sabbath. Through the performances JOnO developed more of an interest in sound engineering and undertook a training course to learn the basics of recording and live sound production.
