House of the Dragon Showrunner Doesn't Understand Daemon Targaryen

House of the Dragon Season 2 is out in a few short days and to say it is highly anticipated is a massive understatement. It managed to wash away most of the stink Games of Thrones Season 8 left in its wake, in large part due to the expert leadership of showrunner Ryan Condal and great characters like Matt Smith's Daemon Targaryen.

As brilliant of a showrunner as Condal is, he isn't much of a people person. He is perplexed as to why so many people like a complex badass with a cool sword and a crazy dragon. He didn't anticipate the success of the show nor the fandom of surrounding one of the de facto main characters.

Season 2 is going to be a big season for Daemon and for fans of great TV. Don't pull a Game of Thrones, please...
