One Jot or One Tittle / Is the Body of Christ Under the Law?

Summary:
Jesus said that not one jot or tittle from the Law of Moses would pass till all be fulfilled. Some believe this means that the law remains in effect until all prophecy is fulfilled, including the millennial reign of Christ. As we saw two weeks ago in our message titled A Better Testament, Jesus cannot legally be a priest under the Mosaic Law, yet He is the High Priest of the New Testament. Let’s compare Scripture with Scripture to see just how long the law would remain till all be fulfilled.

Takeaway:
Christ fulfilled the law and the prophets in His death, burial, and resurrection. He is the Mediator of the New Testament. Don’t be entangled with the yoke of bondage. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, where we are dead to the law and have become able ministers of the New Testament. Yes, even the Church, the Body of Christ, is under the New Testament. We don’t partake in Israel’s physical promises but in their spiritual things: forgiveness, eternal life, and the heavenly city. Free yourself from legalism! Rest in the finished work of Christ.
