⭕️ TRUE CRIME [LIVE]: A Kansas man used Snapchat to track his ex-girlfriend while she was on a date and then proceeded to murder her when she got home. Cari Allen vanished in November 2022 after the date. Aldrick Scott was initially charged with her kidnapping, but was later convicted of first-degree murder in her death. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down.

Twenty-four-year-old Payton Shires now faces over 28 years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple sex crimes charges. Shires was arrested in October 2023, after investigators found explicit texts, photos, and videos of her sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy. Shires, who was employed as a social worker, was first introduced to the boy when she began counseling him. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie hears from criminal defense attorney and sex crimes expert Brian Claypool about the intricacies of the case.

The man accused of murdering two women in Cape Coral, Florida within days of each other heads to trial this week. Wade Steven Wilson was indicted on multiple charges including first-degree premeditated murder. Investigators believe Wilson strangled Kristine Melton inside her home after the two met at a bar, then later stole Melton’s car, hunted down Diane Ruiz and killed her. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks down the alleged killing spree.
