Wedding Bouquet Toss Turns Into Surprise Proposal

A great wedding, is just a blast. It is a celebration of romance, community, love, trust, partnership, tolerance and tenacity. There is nothing more exciting for the bride than her wedding day. When it comes to marriage proposals, the desires are as varied as the girls. Some like them big and pompous, others like to keep it on the down low, quiet and intimate. Then there are those who just want to be surprised, because at the end of the day, it is just about them and the man they will soon accept to be their companion for life. To each their own, they say.
Every once in a while, we get to see what happens when a couple takes part in someone’s wedding, most often when both newlyweds are their close friends. With Beyonce’s song in the background, the bridesmaids get ready for the bouquet. They push each other jokingly, raise their hands in the air and stand in a position to catch the bouquet. On the count of three, there the bride goes. What you see next comes as a real surprise. Instead of tossing the bouquet, the bride hands it to her Maid of Honor. We can hear some of the guests commenting that “that was cheating” but nobody expects that this lady will get a surprise proposal in the moment to come.

The groomsman kneels down and proposes. His future wife is literally taken aback and after she says yes, they embrace each other in the first dance as partners for life. There are many other dances for them to come, some will be happy, some will be difficult, but that’s what marriage consists of, right?
