"These Democrats will rue the day they decided to use legal means to stop a presidential candidate," warned well-known presenter and journalist Megyn Kelly on her show on Thursday evening.

In light of the guilty verdict in the New York hush money trial, which makes Donald Trump the first former president in American history to be convicted of a crime, Kelly suggested that Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are facing a reckoning.

"Next time, it's not going to be Hunter Biden," she said. "It's going to be Joe Biden. It could still be Barack Obama. It could also be Hillary Clinton. We need to look at the statute of limitations on the various crimes that they certainly committed. We need to pass laws to revive those statute-barred crimes, felonies or misdemeanors, so that they become statute-barred.

Kelly concluded by saying, "The only way to save the Republic is to treat it with its own medicine."

She compared Democrats to a wolf who had just "tasted blood" and said the only way to stop a wolf from "coming back" is to "lose a limb of itself."
