Woven look basket

Though it looks like it was woven, the parts of this basket are cut on a scroll saw. The look is achieved by alternating layers with staggered patterns. This will require accurate cutting and some very fine detail, so it is probably not a good pattern for a beginner. It will also require patience because there is so much repetition of the same shape being cut. But the results are worth the effort.
