India demands UK abide by extradition treaty
India has demanded that the British government abide by extradition agreements or otherwise risk reputational damage. New Delhi says that London has become a safe haven for fraudsters. India is strongly pressing for the extradition of two fugitives - Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi, among other cases. That duo is wanted in connection with a billion-dollar scam against one of India's largest banks.
