Why does God allow bad things to happen to nice people?

"God" - in whatever way one views God - has no involvement in what we view as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. This "Ultimate Intelligence"' has a plan for the evolution of the universe, there are Intelligences that help with this plan, but the only ‘good’ that exists is whether everything is going to plan and the only ‘bad’ that exists is whether it is not going to plan. And the only reason it may not be going to plan is because the only creature on earth that does not follow instructions is man! People view ‘good’ and ‘bad’ subjectively. They either view it from a totally personal point of view – is it good for me or bad for me? Or they try to include a perhaps slightly larger known group and try to empathise. But empathy is not easy, you could be setting yourself up as the saviour of a group that does not want to be "saved". Justice was once regarded as simply going with the laws of Nature and it is a great deal easier to work with . If you go against these Laws, ‘bad things happen to good people’, because although these ‘good people’ may not have been directly involved, somewhere in the progression of cause and effect people were, people who thought they knew better.

PAINTINGS
All the paintings are by Hilma Af Klint (1862-1944). She was a Swedish artist, considered to be the founder of Abstract painting. Hilma and four other young female artists organized the group “Five.”
The mission of the group was to research spiritual aspects of culture and develop the practice of automatic drawing – the technique, which later became associated with Andre Breton and Surrealists.
