The Hajr-e-Aswad, or Black Stone, is a significant Islamic relic set into the eastern corner of the Kaaba, the ancient and holy structure located in the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The Black Stone holds great religious importance in Islam. According to Islamic tradition, it is believed to date back to the time of Adam and Eve and is considered to have been sent down from Heaven.
