In defense of Ludwig... (HasanAbi moderator Frogan goes insane)

Tonight on Heliophobian, we'll be discussing two recent situations in the world of streaming - one on Twitch, the other from YouTube.

Left-leaning Twitch streamer Frogan, who resides in Los Angeles, California and won the Rising Star award at the 2023 Streamer Awards by QTCinderella, became embroiled in controversy with Ludwig over the issue of donations and charity streams. The drama began when Frogan publicly criticized Ludwig for not actively encouraging his viewers to donate to the Creators for Palestine movement, which sought to raise $1 million for UNWRA and other Palestinian aid charities.

This criticism peaked on May 11, 2024, when Frogan responded to Ludwig’s personal $10,000 donation to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, questioning why he didn’t urge his audience to contribute as well. The situation intensified after Frogan used a derogatory term to describe Ludwig’s views, which is not too dissimilar from behaviour Hasan Piker (hasanabi/hasanthehun) has done in the past as well - I guess great (mods and) minds think alike.

Meanwhile, a streamer on YouTube known as Vegan Patriot got into a literal car crash on May 10, 2024 - and was utterly stupefied in how she was meant to respond.
