Ronald Wilson Reagan served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. A near death experience or NDE is what people experience when they almost die, or they die and are resuscitated. The experience has been used for millenia as an indicator of what happens on death. Pope Gregory the Great, in the sixth century, collected descriptions of these experiences. Whether someone has a NDE when they are close to death, seems to depend on how close to death they were.
