Derek Prince personal statement to Mike Bickle and ihopkc was circulating on Twitter this week. His letter was a rebuke and a strong warning to everyone regarding Mike Bickle and ihopkc. Derek Prince met with Mike Bickle but felt his warning were brushed off. I wonder if we could have avoided all this pain and confusion if we would have heeded Derek Prince warning to the church. Derek Prince felt many of the revelation "had no basis in scripture and many times were contrary to scripture". The revelations claimed by Mike Bickle could be considered "absurd or even blasphemous". Derek claimed some of the events ihopkc claimed "proved to be untrue and have never been retracted". He felt that all this would "divert attention away from Jesus Christ and the scriptures and toward subjective experiences and human personalities". And he also stated the claims made by Mike Bickle and Ihopkc "would expose the Body of Christ to error and confusion". Derek Prince called on Mike Bickle to repent and renounce all of this. Derek felt his warnings were brushed off. If only the body of Christ would have listened we could have avoided all this pain and confusion we are experiencing now.
