Stephen D - "If only I could go back sometimes and be a dog again!"

Stephen D' was one of the more unusual case histories in Dr Oliver Sacks’ book "The Man who mistook his wife for a hat". Stephen D was a 22 year old medical student, who later became a doctor and a friend of Dr Sacks, who experienced a dream in which he dreamt he was a dog “in a world unimaginably rich and significant in smells”. And when he woke he could still smell the same way. "As if I had been totally colour blind before and suddenly found myself in a world full of colour."
