Der technisch denkende Mensch sieht die Natur als bloße Ressource. Durch seinen Willen zur Herstellung sowie seinen Fokus auf Nützlichkeit und Verwertbarkeit übersieht der Mensch die eigene Bedeutung der Dinge. So könnte man, in Kürze, die Position des deutschen Philosophen Martin Heidegger beschreiben, der sich in mehreren Aufsätzen mit der Rolle der Technik beschäftigt hat.
