How to Deal With Difficult People As a Christian Judas Was One of the Twelve Disciples. Jesus had to endure Judas because he was one the the 12 disciples. He didn't get rid of judas or kick him out of the ministry. This will be a dealing with difficult people sermon. The Christian life is a hard life at times. Very few preach on the challenges of the Christian life. Be Jesus preached if you want to be my disciple you must pick up your cross and follow me. You must die to yourself. Jesus also preached that broad in the way to destruction and the narrow road is the way to life. Most people do not take the narrow road or the road less traveled. Because this makes the Christian life even more difficult. One of the hardest things about the Christian life is interpersonal relationships. Relationships with others will bring our biggest challenges. People can be difficult and complicated. The enemy will most liking launch his next attack on us through a person. We have the flesh to deal with, the devil and spiritual warfare and we have the world (people). These things make the Christian life much more difficult than the life a regular person. In todays Christian world we have a sentiment that if people are difficult you should cut them off and just focus on success. But this is not the correct view of the Christian life. We should set up boundaries and possible separate from people who are being destructive. But sometimes we are called to endure difficult relationships for the sake of our growth and for the sake of the growth of others. A most of our most challenging test will come through people. We will suffer in interpersonal relationships because not all people see the world the way we do. And this causes us to feel alone and feel pain. But we must endure difficult relationships with people at times. There is no way around this either. Are you dealing with a difficult person in your life right now? It might be a spouse, a child, a relative, your boss, a co worker, a neighbor or someone at church. I was to offer your encouragement today that we might have to go through difficult seasons with people and some of these situations are ordained by God.
