A Beautiful Spring Day Kayak Fishing the North Fork Holston River

We got a late start on the NFH this year butwe sure made up for some of it on this float! Thomas, James and I decided to try a short float, about 2 miles, so I could test out my new Bonafide RVR 119 on some skinny water and catch some hard fighting smallmouth bass. The RVR is a real river boat that paddles effortlessly, turns on a dime and when you head it up stream it stays pointed up stream! We landed a total of 80 fish, 70 of which were smallmouth. If you will notice I only had the back camera on this trip so I didn't get the full float and missed some of the best that I landed.
