On November 15th 2145 The UAC's Mars Research Base suffers a cataclysmic mechanical failure during a classified research experiment, resulting in total destruction of the facility. Only one survivor is located ( your marine from Doom 3 ) With Hell's Portal closed on Mars, Earth should be safe, but the UAC sends a new assessment team lead by Dr. Elizabeth McNeil the one who blew the whistle on Betruger's research experiments.
