Activists block street in Berlin in protest over fossil fuel subsidies

Climate activists staged a sit-in rally and blocked a street in Berlin, demanding more climate action as well as an end to fossil subsidies. The protesters reportedly also called for funds that go to fossil energy to be directed to education, social projects, health care, basic child safety and energy-efficient upgrades to public buildings.
