Police try to restore order as UCLA protesters clash

The protests at UCLA, ostensibly a protest against the university’s pro-Israel stance, has descended into a siege after counter protesters turned up on Wednesday, and police turned up on Thursday to try and restore order.

Wednesday night descended into violence as pro-Israel protesters stormed the anti-Israel camp, shooting fireworks directly at the camp and throwing canisters of bear mace.
