There's nothing quite like the thrill of seeing Jonathan Frakes on screen. Yes, he's known as Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation, but for me, he's also the iconic host of Beyond Belief. My best friend and I had a ritual of cozying up in bed with Chicken Biscuits and squeeze cheese, eagerly awaiting each episode. Our fascination extended beyond Frakes himself; we were captivated by narrator Don LaFontaine and the meticulous research of author Robert Tralins. Together, they formed our A-Team. Created by Lynn Lehman, whose sole other credit was a role in 1976's Guardian of the Wilderness, Beyond Belief was like a mysterious puzzle for its audience. Each episode presented a collection of short stories, spanning from paranormal encounters to uncanny coincidences.
