A severe weather outbreak currently ongoing to our west will be key to watch for potential for the same ingredients associated with it to move into the Great Lakes Region on Saturday. Currently, some questions exist regarding the strength of a capping inversion that may inhibit thunderstorm development along a frontal boundary moving across Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, and Northern Lower Michigan, but storms that end up initiating in the area will have potential for all severe hazards, including tornadoes if models continue to trend in the same manner.Show more
