KleinVision’s groundbreaking AirCar has achieved a historic milestone by conducting the world’s first flight with a passenger.

Music icon Jean-Michel Jarre soared through the skies in the half-plane hybrid, showcasing its capabilities at Piestany international airport in Slovakia.

Designed by Professor Stefan Klein and Anton Zajac, the AirCar received flight approval in 2022 after numerous successful takeoffs and landings.

Previously, it made history as the first flying car to complete an intercity flight.

With foldable wings and a back propeller, this 1,000kg dual-mode prototype transforms from a sports car to a plane in minutes, requiring only 300m of runway.

Powered by a 1.6L BMW engine, it can reach speeds of up to 120mph at 8,000 feet altitude, with plans to transition to electric power, the U.S. Sun has reported.
