How to rightly divide the word of truth - How to resolve contradictions in the Bible (ep 1)

Are we justified by faith without works or faith and works? Was Jesus crucified at the 3rd or 6th hour? In this video, I show you how to resolve potential contradictions in the Bible using a list of rules, giving examples of how to apply those rules in practice.

03:17 - Rule #1 - Go with the majority of scriptures and re-examimne what you believe about the minority
06:01 - Rule #2 - Go with clear statements/passages rather than unclear ones, particularly in relation to the subject matter if possible
15:07 - Rule #3 - Look carefully at the context/subject matter of opposing passages, and if you can, look for a "key", that is a passage that can help you unlock the puzzle to resolve the contradiction
32:44 - Rule #4 - Some minor contradictory issues in the Bible may only be resolved by secular knowledge outside of the Bible, but these are generally restricted to trivial matters
