How to rightly divide the word of truth - How to define Biblical words and concepts (ep 2)
What does it mean to be born again? Does repentance have a simple definition or is it more complicated? In this video, I show you how to correctly define Biblical terminology so that you don't obfuscate what the Bible is actually trying to say.
SCHEDULE
00:00 - Introduction, why definitions matter
00:50 - Rule #1 - Look at how a word/term is used across the Bible, allow the Bible to be its own dictionary
05:17 - Rule #2 - You can use a conventional dictionary to help you, but it should be used with caution
07:37 - Rule #3 and #4 - Don't over-embellish or sensationalise what words actually mean. Don't define words by quoting other people's fanciful statements.
11:55 - Rule #5 - Don't define Biblical words or terms by using passages that don't specifically mention such terms unless you can establish a very clear connection.
20:23 - Rule #6 - When the Bible uses analogies/parables/idioms/metaphors, try to think about the literal application of such and whether your interpretation actually makes sense, but don't do this at the expense of clear teachings.
25:33 - Treat Biblical words and terms as simple words, not fancy terms

How to rightly divide the word of truth - How to resolve contradictions in the Bible (ep 1)
Are we justified by faith without works or faith and works? Was Jesus crucified at the 3rd or 6th hour? In this video, I show you how to resolve potential contradictions in the Bible using a list of rules, giving examples of how to apply those rules in practice.
SCHEDULE:
00:01 - Introduction, what is dividing the word of truth?
03:17 - Rule #1 - Go with the majority of scriptures and re-examimne what you believe about the minority
06:01 - Rule #2 - Go with clear statements/passages rather than unclear ones, particularly in relation to the subject matter if possible
15:07 - Rule #3 - Look carefully at the context/subject matter of opposing passages, and if you can, look for a "key", that is a passage that can help you unlock the puzzle to resolve the contradiction
32:44 - Rule #4 - Some minor contradictory issues in the Bible may only be resolved by secular knowledge outside of the Bible, but these are generally restricted to trivial matters

Repentance for Salvation - Biblical salvation settled once and for all
What does it mean to repent for salvation? Do you need to repent of your sins to be saved? Repentance confuses a lot of Christians, but it's actually a very simple word, but the vast majority of "Christians" embellish and sensationalise the definition and take a very selected interpretation of what it means. Due to the immense amount of false teaching and deception on this topic, it was necessary to do such a long video for a subject that should really only take 10 seconds to explain.
This video is part of a study series, "Biblical Salvation settled once and for all". Please see the playlist for all available videos:

Gospel of John 7 - Biblical Salvation settled once and for all (episode 6)
Jesus said the Holy Spirit would be given to those who believe. Is this a necessary component of salvation or is it distinct from salvation in some way? Did Jesus sin by "working" on the Sabbath? How did the Pharisees' teaching about the law differ from what the Bible actually says? In this video, I go through the Gospel of John, chapter 7, looking at the implications of Jesus giving the Holy Spirit and how this is distinct from believing unto salvation. I also show you how the Pharisees misinterpreted the Bible and made doctrinal statements based on what scripture does not say, and show examples of how people continue to do this today.

Gospel of John 6 - Biblical Salvation settled once and for all (episode 5)
Conditional security or eternal security? Once Saved Always Saved or not? Can we lose our salvation or are we eternally secure? In this video, I go through the Gospel of John chapter 6, looking at how Jesus claims he will not lose any that are his, and understanding the meaning of "eating Christ's flesh" and "drinking his blood." This chapter demonstrates that it is Christ who follows God's will to hold unto believers, rather than believers trying to stay in. A careful study of John 6 reveals that contrary to popular belief, it does not actually refer to communion (although they both relate to Jesus's body and blood, they do not directly relate to each other).

Biblical Salvation settled once and for all (episode 1) - Series Introduction and basic gospel plan
I am working on a series titled "Biblical salvation settled once and for all". There are so many different preachers out there preaching so many different gospels: one minute it's faith alone, then the next minute it's faith accompanied with works. One person says we are eternally secure then somebody else says we can lose our salvation - and both camps can provide a tonne of scripture to justify their arguments.
In this project I intend to go through every passage in the New Testament that either deals with or is used to argue salvation doctrine, showing you how to rightly divide the word of God, how to understand salvation and how to answer for every passage that is used to propagate false gospels.
The series is a work in progress but please visit the link below to see the playlist of videos that have been uploaded so far.

The simple way to heaven (How to be saved, according to the Bible)
If you died today, would you go to Heaven? Are you certain that you have eternal life? Are you saved by faith alone or do you have to work for your salvation? Do you think you have to turn from all your sins? Can you lose your salvation (conditional security) or are you eternally secure (eternal security)?
If you are unsure, this video is a short summary of the gospel to show you simply, how to be saved.
Over the course of the next few months, I plan to do a series on "Biblical Salvation settled once and for all", where I will explore as much of the New Testament as possible to answer every single passage that is used to teach about salvation, showing what point of view is correct and why the advocates of other gospels are intentionally or unintentionally misinterpreting the passage.
