Vandals filmed destroying ancient rock formations
Who looks at an ancient natural wonder and thinks ‘Your time’s up pal’? These men, apparently, who decided destroying a protected rock formation would make them look hard and cool, or something.
The two men were caught on camera deliberately destroying prehistoric rock formations at Lake Mead in Nevada earlier this month, and authorities are now asking the public to help identify them. A now-viral video shows the men, watched by a little girl, putting a surprising amount of effort into destroying the rocks, with one attempting to push over a boulder almost as big as himself.
The rocks had been minding their own business for millions of years, when Beavis and Butthead here decided it would be ‘epic bantz’ to destroy them. So epic, in fact, that the men are now facing a minimum of a $5000 fine and 6 months in jail when they’re caught.
