How to remve a seized shaft.

If a 16 pound hamer just bounces of the shaft, and pressing and jacking doesn't want to work! Just call a Boilermaker to assist with the problem....
Ok, what u do is, heat up the center of the shaft with a cutting tortch. When it's hot enough you start cutting through the center of the shaft as deep as possible, and then from the other side the same until you're right through.
Immediately cool down with a hosepipe and water!
In this process the shaft will shrink, and easy to knock out with a hammer.
