History is one of the greatest elements to start the writing ball rolling. History can be interpreted, explained, lived, embellished and more to involve us in the weave of the human journey. When we can understand the past, bring it into the present and then give more insight, we writers are of service to our readers and beyond. History - notice the word ‘story’ in there - is a key to understanding our own humanity.
