Part 4 of Sybil's garb is the Spanish farthingale, the predecessor to paniers and hoop skirts. This was my first time completing one, and while it needs a size adjustment at the waist, I'm very pleased with it- and Sybil loves it! She adores the fabric, and we're both excited for the next piece, which is the bum roll. All three of these pieces were made out of the same linen I used for the shift from Burnley & Trowbridge. The pockets and cap were drafted by myself (with help from videos on YouTube from Bernadette Banner and Morgan Donner), and the apron was from Butterick pattern 5509.
