Ingredients:

Three potatoes (600g), boiled and mashed
One can of chickpeas (450g), mashed
One onion (140g), grated
One fourth of a cup of chopped parsley (6g)
One fourth of a cup of chopped coriander (6g)
Three cloves of garlic (10g), chopped
One tsp cumin
One tsp chili flakes
Salt and black pepper to taste

Breading:

One cup all-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
One cup water

Instructions:

Boil and mash potatoes, mash chickpeas, and combine in a bowl.
Add grated onion, chopped parsley, chopped coriander, garlic, cumin, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into small patties.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually add water to create a batter.
Dip each patty into the batter, ensuring even coating.
Cover patties with breadcrumbs.
Fry in vegetable oil or bake until golden brown.
