U.S. Deploys Missiles on Yemen's UNESCO Heritage Socotra Island

With the help of the UAE, the US announced on Wednesday the deployment of missile defense systems in Yemen's Socotra archipelago in the Arabian Sea. This marks a significant military escalation in the long-running Yemeni civil war and practically rendering the island an occupied territory.
