Sudan's UN Envoy Accuses UAE of Ethnic Cleansing in his Country
At a Security Council meeting on Tuesday, Sudan's UN ambassador accused the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of inciting conflict in Sudan and standing behind systematic ethnic cleansing, a charge the Emirati envoy denied.
Since April 2023, Sudan has been in conflict, with the regular military led by army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan fighting the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), commanded by his former deputy, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo. The Sudanese army has long accused Abu Dhabi of supporting the RSF. In April, Sudan requested an emergency Security Council meeting to address these accusations, but the request was not granted.
During a scheduled meeting on Sudan's situation, Sudanese ambassador Al-Harith Idriss al-Harith Mohamed accused the UAE of arming the RSF and called for the Emirates to stop its support, claiming it was the main reason for the ongoing conflict. He urged the council to condemn the UAE's actions.
A resolution passed last week by the council called for all UN member states to refrain from external interference in Sudan and respect an arms embargo. A January report by a council-appointed panel criticized violations of the embargo, implicating several countries, including the UAE, in supplying arms to the RSF.
The Emirati envoy, Mohamed Issa Hamad Mohamed Abushahab, rejected the Sudanese ambassador's claims as "ludicrous" and accused him of using the council to support the army's position, diverting attention from serious violations on the ground.

Houthis Claim Uncovering Alleged US-Israeli Spy Ring Operating in Yemen
On June 10, 2024, the Houthi rebel group in Yemen claimed to have uncovered and captured members of an alleged US-Israeli spy network operating within territory under Houthi control. According to the Houthis, several individuals were arrested and their purported confessions were aired on Houthi-run television.
The Houthis alleged that this spy ring was gathering intelligence and conducting other activities to support the interests of the United States and Israel amid the ongoing conflict in Yemen. However, these claims have not been independently verified.
The Houthi announcement came just days after the internationally-recognized Yemeni government in Aden ordered commercial banks in Houthi-controlled areas to relocate their offices to the government's seat of power. This move was seen as an attempt by the Yemeni government to exert greater economic control over territory held by the Houthi rebels.
Experts note that the Houthi accusations highlight the complex geopolitical dynamics at play in the Yemeni civil war, with regional and international powers being accused of interfering in the country's internal affairs. The fluid nature of the conflict means tensions are likely to persist as the warring parties continue to battle for control and influence across Yemen.

US Army Aids Israel in Bloody Military Operation in Gaza Killing Over 200
In a barbaric, despicable and heinous crime that can only be described as an act of pure evil and depravity against humanity itself, the American Delta force and the Israeli IDF carried out a joint operation on Saturday to free four Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. The clandestine operation resulted in the vicious massacre of more than 200 Palestinians. A video circulating on Hebrew Telegram channels has revealed that the US-built pier in central Gaza was used by the Israeli army and the US abduction unit as part of a deadly rescue operation. The operation resulted in the slaughter of over 200 Palestinian lives, most of them children with health officials describing the scene inside Al-Aqsa Hospital as a slaughterhouse. According to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, a specialized US military unit assisted in the effort that decimated the Nuseirat refugee camp. Multiple Israeli media outlets reported that a special forces unit penetrated deep into the camp to recover four living captives, before evacuating them via the US-built pier. The pier, which was reinstalled on the Gaza coast just yesterday after undergoing millions in repairs, was purportedly constructed to serve as a maritime corridor for delivering much-needed aid into the besieged enclave but instead it was used as a Trojan horse. The Palestinian resistance had repeatedly warned that the pier could be used to deliver weapons to Israel. In a statement earlier this year, President Biden had directed the US military to establish the temporary pier in Gaza, claiming it would facilitate the arrival of large ships loaded with food, water, medicine, and temporary shelters. But the latest developments have cast serious doubt on the true purpose of this project. Columnist Mohammed Al-Amrani of the News Updates Service recently questioned whether the US-built pier was intended to serve as a smokescreen for political maneuvers, allowing for increased control over Gaza under the guise of humanitarian assistance. The barbaric atrocity unfolding in Gaza has sparked outrage and calls for accountability. The Arab and Muslim world watch with bated breath, anger and frustration as the US, Israeli and European genocide continues in Gaza with the complicit aid from Arab Zionists in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi, UAE, Morocco and others. Eyewitnesses said: Israeli terrorists and US delta force disguised themselves as humanitarian relief workers and used aid trucks to massacre civilians in central Gaza. Similar incident occurred when Israeli terrorists disguised as nurses executed a teenage boy in a coma. A Hamas official describing how the Nuseirat Massacre unfolded told reporters: Israel used the US-built ‘humanitarian pier’ to sneak in a unit of Israeli soldiers, and American soldiers. The soldiers boarded a humanitarian aid truck and drove to Nuseirat refugee camp. Once inside, they were discovered by Palestinians, which resulted in nonstop Israeli aerial bombardment and the soldiers opening fire inside the central market, killing over 210 Palestinians and injuring hundreds

Israel Bombs Tent Camp in Rafah Burning People Alive
Israeli air strikes on a tent camp housing displaced Palestinians in Rafah killed around 100 people on Sunday. Many of the victims were reported to be women and children.
The bombing in the Tal as-Sultan area came after Israeli forces struck several other shelters for those displaced by the conflict in Jabalia, Nuseirat, and Gaza City. Palestinian officials said at least 160 more Palestinians died in those attacks.
An Israeli military spokesman confirmed the Rafah strike targeted Hamas fighters, saying "precision weaponry" was used. However, the spokesman acknowledged civilians were wounded when a fire broke out and said the incident is under investigation
