US calls on Israel to protect civilians in Rafah

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has appealed to Israel to prioritize the safety of the civilian population of Rafah while emphasizing its ‘right to defend itself.’ Despite this, Washington keeps on providing military support to Tel-Aviv.
