Koranic View of Today's World

Since humanity has turned away from its Creator and His guidance, embracing instead its own ideologies and false gods—be they pleasure, freedom, science, or material wealth—it has fallen into worship of its own making. It has bowed before the idols of nationalism, philosophy, and politics, elevating leaders and rulers to divine status. It has indulged in base desires, forsaking the sanctity of family and reducing itself to mere animalistic pursuits of pleasure. Furthermore, it has structured economic systems on principles of usury and exploitation, enriching a select few while the majority toil in vain. Since humans have done all that to themselves, then they've to pay and pay dearly.
