Colorado real estate laws are changing and many of the proposed laws will have unintended consequences for the people these laws were supposed to benefit. If a landlord faces increased expenses, they will raise rents. If they can't get rid of a bad tenant, they are going to be far more selective about who they allow to rent their homes. If anything, this slants the table in favor of large, corporate landlords.

Some of these laws are needed and helpful, however when the government solves one problem they usually create 3 more.
