600 lbs | Conventional Deadlift at 20 🎧

July 8, 2020 - this clip was captured before I headed to Oklahoma for college. It marked my third or fourth successful attempt at lifting 600 lbs. I only deadlift once every two months as I prioritize hypertrophy-focused training. I believe that building strong muscles lays the foundation for bigger muscles. By consistently challenging yourself with essential compound exercises, maintaining proper form, and allowing for adequate recovery time, you set the stage for significant gains in muscle mass over time.

I've learned over time that true strength is deadlifting the weight up and carefully placing it back down. Please excuse me dropping the weight, I understand it's not appropriate - we were all young at some point. 🤪

If you enjoy this type of content, let me know - I have plenty more in the vault.
