How Apple Made The Internet Dumber - A Satirical Pointless Rant From an Old Loser Geek

Was my first attempt at one these pointless "rants".. Can't exactly call it standup or myself a comedian when its just my dumb@ss in front a camera AND edited. But I do try to improv them just working off bullet lists and notes of things to remember so I don't venture too far off the rails..

Obviously no copyright infringement or anything else on Mutahar/SOG or LTT, was just using the clips as part of the.. "bit" or.. whatever this was? (Bad/cringe stand-up wannabe for old loser geeks and nerds?).

I usually just green-screen out the background and use a real, but out of focus, picture of my wall behind it so it isn't too jarring or offensively poorly keyed out, but...

I got a little too close to the backdrop, combined with inadequate lighting, casting shadows that couldn't be properly keyed out, so.. I went with using Resolve's Magic Mask option.. (you can see it in the green that got left behind in some obvious areas, but other than that, I'm fairly impressed with the auto-detection of it). Much easier and faster to just.. properly light your green screen and watching your distance, but.. live and learn...LOL

Designs are either stock images, product images, or designs I've personally created/pieced together. Just trying to avoid actually stepping on anyone's toes or angering anyone more than these moronic rants are already going to (if anyone ever sees this dumb trash anyway LOL).

"Background music" is something I threw together using a pack of loops purchased for producers etc.. I couldn't really find anything that was just a walking bassline this long on Envato, and I'm too cheap to pay for something like Epidemic sound that might actually have something like it, so.. just threw it together myself in Acid Pro (yeah they still sell that one and its cheap, to any other old people who remember it when it was owned by Sonic Foundry and Sony LOL)
