Rhizophagy and the Plant Microbiome
So yeah, diatomaceous earth, a diatom is actually an organism and it's kind of like an algae that creates this silica, like glass-like cage around it or exoskeleton. And they come in all shapes and sizes and they're really cool to look at. Yeah, absolutely.
I've seen some images, it's beautiful to see. Not so much for the ants, but that's another story.
Yeah, yeah, the diatomaceous earth is dead too, so it's not living, but it is affecting things on a microbial level, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that's different.
Also, it's like for the mammals, it's super good, right? Like beneficial also for the, but on the other level probably because it's not alive. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah. And hey, another good one though as an example is called rhizobia. And those are a bacteria that often associate with leguminous plants or like peas or clover. And so rhizobia are these bacteria that get into the root system of the plant and they...
Nice, though, yeah.
You know, I was mentioning plants farm microbes. So they actually are like sending out food, like cookies and cakes for the, so, you know, photosynthesis brings in, mm-hmm, they're attracting it.
