Clay played in Ad Face

Love Is Blind has returned to our screens for its sixth season, with the reality dating show aptly premiering on Valentine’s Day, before more episodes dropped across the next four weeks. If you’re like us, you’ve probably been wondering which couples are still together - particularly AD and Clay after *that* shock at the altar.
Kicking things off in the pods, we saw real estate broker Amber ‘AD’ Desiree decide between two men in particular; entrepreneur Clay Gravesande and senior financial adviser Matthew Duliba. With her ultimately choosing to get engaged to Clay, meeting him in person for the first time after they were engaged.

The pair seemed to hit their stride on honeymoon (despite Clay's misunderstanding over what a wedding ring was...), until they had a slightly awkward moment with Jeramey and Laura around the 'bean dip' comment. While AD insisted it was all completely fine, Clay took offence to the misunderstanding, but all seemed to be worked out eventually.

In later episodes, AD and Clay had frank and honest conversations around their family backgrounds, and the fact his parents had split up because of cheating, while they were also trying to align on their clashing schedules. AD admitted she found it tough when Clay didn't come home because he was focussing on his business, while her work in a VIP club meant she was also out late.

One of the more touching moments of the season came when AD and Clay met each other's families for the first time, and AD's mum was full of words of wisdom for them. The pair were one of only two couples who made it all the way to the wedding days (oh hey Johnny and Amy!), Clay made a shock decision at the altar and told AD he could not marry her.

Despite AD saying 'I do', Clay explained it wouldn't be a "responsible" decision for him to marry Clay, because there was still lots he wanted to do and achieve before committing to marriage. He said it wasn't the right moment on his timeline right now for a marriage, but that he really wanted them to still be together and give things a go.

OK, so while Clay and AD didn't get married on their Love is Blind wedding day, viewers did see them talking things through after their ceremony. But, AD did say when she was getting in her car home, "I don't see myself continuing to date him... You don't want to pick me, somebody else will. I'm done! My heart is like completely broken."
