Reflections: Technological Morality, Part One, excerpts from “To Will And To Do”, by Jacques Ellul.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
(PHILIPPIANS 2:13).

A transformation in the lived morality is taking place under our own eyes. We are entering into a new form of morality which could be called technological morality, since it tends to bring human behavior into harmony with the technological world, to set up a new scale of values in terms of technology, and to create new virtues.
